reference press note dt. 8.10.09 issued by coordination committee of PSEB Engineers association and employees giving call for non-celebration Diwali due to non grant of revised pay scales as per the report of WEC. It is pertinent to mention here that on one side the above coordination committee has given call for non-celebration of Diwali, whereas on the other side PSEB officers Club Committee is celebrating DIWALI MELA on 14.10.09.This looks awkward and coveys a wrong message down the line.
It is therefore suggested that even if at this stage the DIWALI MELA being celebrated in PSEB officer club is cancelled and wide publicity is give to it, it will have more impact than the non celebration of Diwali by individual homes.

Remember, your work may be only to sweep a railway crossing, but it is your duty to keep it so clean that no other crossing in the world is as clean as yours.

Work is love made visible. And if you cannot work with love but only with distaste, it is better that you should leave your work and sit at the gate of the temple and take alms of those who work with joy.
