reference press note dt. 8.10.09 issued by coordination committee of PSEB Engineers association and employees giving call for non-celebration Diwali due to non grant of revised pay scales as per the report of WEC. It is pertinent to mention here that on one side the above coordination committee has given call for non-celebration of Diwali, whereas on the other side PSEB officers Club Committee is celebrating DIWALI MELA on 14.10.09.This looks awkward.
It is therefore suggested that even if at this stage the DIWALI MELA being celebrated in PSEB officer club is cancelled and wide publicity is give to it, it will have more impact than the non celebration of Diwali by individual homes.
